This is a trim fitting one size nappy. It's economical to use because it adjusts to fit from birth to potty, and has snap-in absorbent inserts, which you can also buy separately, meaning you don't have to buy so many complete nappies thus keeping the overall costs down.
The Imse Vimse One Size Nappy is a cleverly designed, trim fitting cloth nappy designed to grow with your baby and fit throughout from around 4-16kg (9-35lb), by means of the soft Velcro closure and four snap-downs on the front of the cover to adjust to fit.
The nappy is sold as one item consisting of 2 parts: a waterproof cover and two different sized inserts, with gently elasticated sides, in bamboo viscose/cotton blend, that popper together and popper into the waterproof outer. The inserts are also available separately as a pack of two, one each size. If you have a baby that weighs less than 8 kg (17lb) and a lighter wetter it may be sufficient to just use the small inserts. If you have a heavier wetter, it's easy to add more absorbency by adding additional inserts or a booster inside the nappy. The cover can be reused generally for around 2-4 nappy changes before washing so long as it isn't soiled or overly wet. This saves time, money and the environment. We suggest for full time exclusive use to have 2-3 additional insert sets per complete nappy, typically customers buy 6-10 complete nappies and around 10-18 extra insert sets. It's also easy to adjust between the sizes if you have more than one child in nappies at the same time.
Outer nappy cover is made of 2 layers of 100% Polyurethane laminated Polyester PUL.
Nappy inserts are made of made of 70% bamboo viscose/30% cotton fabric.
