Sweden’s premier brand - a top quality, soft feel wrap with a non-scratchy premium hook and loop fastening and well fitting gusseted legs. This wrap has a breathable waterproof layer of very soft polyurethane laminated polyester knit interior with a soft 100% Organic cotton outer, plus a ventilated waterproof leg gusset. The deep and wide band of the ‘furry’ half of the hook and loop fastening at the front of the wrap allows a generous amount of adjustment for each size, and it is thus not necessary to progress through each size; in most instances three or four sizes of wrap will be sufficient to nappy a baby. This is a very leakproof design, and could be used for both day and night use, but do be aware that as the outer is cotton wicking may occur with heavy wetters. I have successfully used this style wrap over every type of nappy, including terries and prefolds. It fits really well, is very adjustable and is also very soft, being cotton t, and the Velcro panel is really flexible and not at all stiff. The only downside to this wrap is that the cotton does take a little longer to dry than the plain polyester Soft wrap, but I certainly feel the few extra minutes well worth the comfort factor of cotton! As with all cotton covered wraps, wicking of moisture from the inside on to the outer cotton of the wrap may occur with some babies though usually those of plumper build and heavier weters. For these babies, I recommend the Imse Soft wrap as this is of the same stying but no cotton just polyester.
The Imse Organic wrap is machine washable at 60ºC, has the benefit that it can be washed in the same load as the nappies, and can be tumble dried on a low heat.
Available in sizes Newborn 6-13lb (2.2-6kg), Small 11-17lb (5-8kg), Medium 15-22lb (7-10kg), Large 20-26lb, XLarge 24-31lb (11-14kg) SLarge 28lb+ (13kg+). As the hook and loop fastening panel on the front of the wrap is very large and deep, this does allow considerable adjustment, and, depending on baby's shape and wideness of leg, these wraps can usually fit a pound or two either side of the recommended weights.
