Wool has been known for its antibacterial properties - this is due to the lanolin which helps prevent the growth of bacteria. The wool fleece has been chosen from healthy, naturally raised sheep, and carefully cleaned, and retreated with purified lanolin. Lanolin is an organic ester, a natural substance similar to our own sebum, or skin oil, and has natural antibacterial properties. By using a small amount of the wool over sore areas such as nappy rash or sore nipples, the wool effectively protects the damaged area, sooths and keeps the wound moist from within which aids healing and helps prevent scabbing and also helps prevent secondary infections. You may find this product helpful in the treatment of nappy rash, sore or cracked nipples or eczema.
Usage instructions: Put approximately 1 inch of wool on sore parts and change regularly. Used wool can be regenerated 2-3 times when drying in sun-light.
