EcoMenstrual was started by Hettie Harris, a mother of 2 boys, who designed the site to bring together a range of eco-friendly menstrual products to meet the needs of the 21st century.

Hettie also runs Gloucestershire Real Nappy Project, and was finding a distinct lack of time to run EcoMentstrual as well as dashing around the county promoting the use of cloth nappies.

As a consequence, as of 21st October 2010 EcoMenstrual has been acquired by Twinkle Trading Ltd, which also runs the well know cloth nappy site www.twinkleontheweb.co.uk.


We all recycle now, real nappy sales are rocketing and it's only natural that women start to feel differently about throwaway pads and tampons. An average woman uses over 11,000 tampons or pads during her lifetime!
